How to set Canon EOS 5D Mark II Aperture ISO Shutter Speed Manually in Video Mode - T

This may be a dumb question but how do you turn on live view when the camera is on C1? Nothing happens when I press the button.

Thanks for the question, my guess is that we need to make sure the Firmware is the latest version.

Secondly, my broadest guess is that we need to properly set the LCD for video recording, to avoid confusion, please refer to the Instruction Manual P.108, and Step 4, and make sure it is on [Stills+movie]

Doesn't work for me. I'm still on firmware 1.0.6 but I don't think the latest firmware does anything except black dots and banding. Is your liveview set to exposure simulation or movie mode? In exposure simulation it gives you the read out for iso if you were to take a still so maybe that's why it looks like its locking the iso. But I certainly hope it's something I'm doing wrong on my part instead. Anyone else tried it?
