How to send a portion of sequence to encore in cs4

Looking for help I have a sequence that has several small clips I put together with a few seconds in between. I use to be able in cs3 to define my workspace on the timeline and send just that portion to encore...I don't need to create a menu just a dvd that someone can put into their player and it starts playing the clip.

Does this feature not exist anymore in cs4 ?

Or do I just send the whole sequence to encore and trim the ends until i have the clip I need to build and keep doing this for each clip?

As far as I recall in CS4 ... the Work Area Bar on the timeline is what gets exported to Encore.

Otherwise...why not just trim it properly in the timeline or a duplicate of the timeline if you want the longer version to stay intact.

Perhaps my workflow needs work I had videotape a series of Interviews and and instead of creating a seperate sequence for each one I used one sequence with a few seconds of black in between thinking I could cut and paste any audio or video effect attributes quicker and easier if they were all on the same timeline...when I edit the workbar to a certain interview and bring it to encore it still selects the whole sequence which i then have to readjust the timeline in encore...maybe I have a bug in my system...
