How to run a 3 monitor setup for my NLE?

I sent an email in to Matrox to see if they can help, but maybe someone here knows.

I run PPro 2.0 on a PC with two 17" flatpanels (Samsung 710n's). I just picked up a 21" flatpanel (Samsung 215TW) and want to incorporate it into my setup. What I used to do, is use my 2 - 17" monitors to edit from in a dualview mode. (oh btw my video card is a nVidia GeForce 7800 GS 256mb with dual outs)

So each monitor has its own resolution (and can have its own color depth and refresh rate) But I run those at 1280x1024, then I would use the ol FW trick from the computer to a basic DV cam to a TV where I could view a final output from the NLE. (the program monitor)

What I want to do now is have it setup where I have both 17" running at 1280x1024 AND have my 21" running at 1680x1050 as a 3rd monitor. I see the Matrox DualHead2Go box will allow a split off from one VGA out of a video card and then I could hook up my 17" through that and my 21" to the other video card output. BUT, looks as though the dualhead only allows for a 'span' type mode, where both 17" displays will be combined for one display across both.

Does anyone have this already and know if you can use it like how Im running my monitors now? Where the taskbar just is on one monitor and one monitor is your 'primary'.... but you can still drag windows across both monitors....

Cliffs Notes: Want to run 3 monitors off one computer, without spanning them or 'combining' them as one wide display, so I can set individual resolutions for each monitor. How can this be done?

Well I was messing with stuff and the dualhead2go setup will work. for 160 bucks it will be a good setup. If setting up the 3 monitors to have different resolutions will be something like haveing to get another video card or spend lots of money then Im sticking iwth teh matrox dualhead solution....
