1. I have vegas 11 and somehow I lost some of my info and would like to set it back to the original setting.
2. On my desk top my Vegas 11 icon has a padlock attach to them. What is the padlock for?
3. How can I crop the footage in Vegas Pro 9 or 11 kind of like how this guy did using ML

Thanks

I don't understand your first two questions.

As for #3, to do what he did, set the Project Properties to 1920x720. Then, go into pan/crop for a clip, right-click on the image, and choose "Match Output Aspect."

When I go into Vegas for some reason it isn't setup like it was in the beginning. I'm missing Transitions, Video FX Project Media etc... So need to get it reset some how.

Sounds like you've accidentally hidden some stuff, quite possibly by accidentally pressing a keyboard shortcut.

Check the View menu; that's where most bits are made visible or hidden. I can see there's an option inside View > windows layout to restore the default, which might be worth a try (although I'd save your current layout first, just in case the default is worse). But I don't see anything re resetting all of Vegas to the default View settings.

The padlock means that there are permissions set for that file/folder/application. Usually it happens when it is set for a specific user and not the 'Everyone' account. Could also be an ownership setting propagated from the parent folder.
