How to record voiceover to a PC?

[Angelis]

One of my presenters has to do some voice over work for a project, but lives quite far away from me.

So I'm thinking of sending him a Mic with USB plug to record the voice over.

What software does he need?

Thanks

Audacity should do it OK and its free to download.

And you will likely hear the sound of the PC, along with the hard reflections from the desk and monitor in front of him. But it is what it is.

Thanks. Will take a look

Yep, that may be a problem. Worse case, I'll have to drive over to him.
