how to re-vamp the theater experience for the modern audiece

I recently saw King Kong again last night, and was yearning for an experience like you guys had at the luxury theaters.

I saw it at a megaplex in a somewhat lower quality of life part of town than I am accustomed to, and god did it annoy me. People were talking all the way through, and there were a couple of "punkish attention whores" sitting right behind me and my friends, who felt the need to yell out "HOLY ****" at a moment when it was quiet and full of suspense. Then people would laugh at when Kong looked really sad. Kong's not the monster, those bastards are.

Which brings me to my next point of viewing: Soundproof rooms. We can just forgo the reclining seats, and put a couple of couches in a box, and have waiters come in.

Essentially, we turn every theater into a couple of "sky boxes." That way "punkish attention whores" can yell all they want, and I won't feel the need to yell shut up to them the whole movie (But refrain from doing it, because I would become just as bad as them)

What I hate is waiting for the DVD to come out and one of your friends ruins the ending for you. That makes me want to go to the theatre just so I can see the story for myself.

Tell them shut up. It's what I do. Works like a charm.

And in time, they'll know better, and it won't be an issue.
