What softwares out there allow to make 3D ?. So it can be viewd with the blue & red glasses on a TV screen. Make objects pop up and stuff like that.

Finding out how to do red / blue 3d video is an arduous task. I recently completed a tradeshow video for my employer that was done in 3d - as well as some ads and direct mail pieces where I did digital photos in 3d. Mine was all done in a 3d program though (3DS MAX). Same applies to video though. If you are shooting video for the purpose of converting to 3d, you need to either use a specialized camera with 2 lenses or shoot with 2 cameras as close togetehr as humanly possible. I've done lots of testing and experimenting in this arena and it is difficult at best.

As in previous 3DVX cameras, the Panasonic AG-DVX100A serves as the core of the camera section. The 3DVX3 bypasses resolution and color limitations imposed by miniDV and takes full advantage of the higher resolution and 36 bit color quality the CCDs provide. Data is taken directly from the analog to digital converters and sent over USB 2.0, providing 600% more information than would be recorded to digital tape. An advanced demosaic algorithm is employed to achieved 1280x720p resolution. Since no color decimation or spatial compression is applied to any of the color channels, the 3DVX3 greatly exceeds the image quality of many HD and HDV systems.

This info is from the 21st century model. If thats the case why cant they convert a single DVX to do the 720. This says 720 per eye at 4:4:4. Awesome.

I was wondering the same thing. That's better than Andrameda, isnt it?

(probably freakin expensive, is why.)

After Effects can do it. Just put both cameras as close together as possible, facing the same direction, at the same focal length, and be sure to turn image stabilization off.

Avoid filming action if you're using two separate cameras because your frames won't match up well.
