I need help and how to charge for Camera Work, Editing, Lighting etc. I live in the caribbean and is new to this business, so anybody's help with how I can go about pricing my stuff.

The first thing you must consider in any venture is how much it is costing you to be in business; what is your investment and what are your costs? Then consider what you want to make in wages, add that to your costs and return on investments (ROI), then add a bit more for a reserve and or dividend. You can ignore this approach for a little while while you build a customer base, but long term, this is reality.

If you are just starting out just start low. You got nothing to lose and only experience to gain. As this is my first year in business I've much rather give people a deal and leave room for me to screw thins up and learn then charge people going rate and it not be worth the money.

Start off doing a video for a couple hundred bucks and you'll quickly find out how much you want to charge. I always charge based on the job rather than per hour just cause I never know how long things will take me at this stage. Also people really have no clue how long things take so its hard for someone not in production to know how much an hour of shooting or editing will give.
