My sound is out of sync, want to move it a little to match the video, how do I do that? not moving both sound and video, but just only the sound track. thx
At the top of the timeline where all those different buttons are...theres two buttons that show a lock on them. One with the lock closed with three dots thats the Lock Envelope tool and then next to it on the right is an open lock with 4 boxes behind it thats Ignore Event Grouping. Click Ignore Event Grouping and make sure Lock Envelope is off. Then resyc your audio to your video and turn off Ignore Event Grouping and put on Lock Envelope so your video and audio dont get out of sync.
I didn't know about what blckhawk542 stated, so I'll have to check it out. The way I've always done what you were wanting to do was simply right clicking on the audio/video on the time line, then go down to group ... from there, you can create a new group, delete the group, etc. to be able to either join things together once theyr'e sync'd where you want, or ungroup them to re-sync, etc.
ok, now I know how to move just one track, but the important Q is, is it possible to move it by entering digits? because my sound is out of sync just slightly, when I try to move the sound track with the mouse; the lease minimum it moves from the video track is 0.23 sec(Vegas6), I need to move lower, like maybe 0.1sec, how to do this??
