Hi,

Just wondering how to best to mount TWO sennheiser ew100 G2 receivers onto a video camera? Any ideas?

I currently mount one receiver using the supplied mounting plate and flash connector. But I wonder if there is a good way to mount the two ew100 receivers piggy back style somehow?

Any ideas? What do you do?

Regards and thanks.

Sometimes I'll clip it on the wrist strap, other times just gaffer tape it to the handle. Crude, but it works of you only do it occasionally.

If you camera has a 1/4" screw hole on the top handle you could also get an adapter for a second shoe mount that screws in there for like $10 or so.

I realize you wrapped this thread up already... but I've been using aftermarket cell phone pouches for G2... then use them on the cam-grip... or use a short XLR (about 3') and mount the receivers on my own belt/waist/vest.

What pouches fit the G2? I imagine that cell phones are a completely different shape to the G2. Also how do you attach them to your camera grip? Do you still handhold the camera or is it on a tripod?

Do you have any photos you can post? Thanks again.

I usually clip it to the wrist strap, too. When I did handheld work I would have an imprint of that metal clip on the top of my hand for two days!
