How to mount NTG 3 to HVX200

My NTG 3 is too thin to mount on the HVX's shotgun mount. I'm really not sure what options that I have to mount it on the camera.

i used to put electric tape on the mic to make it thicker.

or use a proper mic shockmount and attach via the hotshoe - much better handling isolation

I personally LOVE the Rycote InVision mounts (http://www.rycote.com/products/universal_camera_kit/) Otherwise a few turns of gaff tape or electrical tape will do just fine.
