How to make tiffs into video

So i just spent hours figuring out how to export, then batch process a sequence of video, but now I'm stuck. When I import the tiffs into fcp, each clip is 9 secs long so i can't just drag and drop. When I try to make a multiclip sequence it doesn't work I think because all of the timecodes start at 0. Is there an easier way than manually setting each tiff to 1 frame length and then dragging them all onto the timeline? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm new to fcp

Oh and also I don't have any other video software that has been recommended for this procedure like quick time pro or after effects

Menu Bar - Final Cut Pro > User Preferences > "Editing" tab

The first option in the upper left hand area is Still/Freeze Frame duration. Set this to 1 frame. Then re-import all of your tiffs (for stills, it only applies this on import, so if you've already imported them, changing this to 1 frame won't change them).

cheers.
