How to make an image "blink"?

Hi everyone,

Is there any way to make a graphic design PNG (masked) image blink using Vegas Pro 8 (b)?
It's actually a question mark I want to place above a person's head to denote confusion in a clip.

Any thoughts?

by 'blink', you mean turn visible then invisible in a repeating pattern? Not directly, but it would be pretty easy to create the question mark as text media with a half-second (or whatever) duration, then repeatedly copy it to a second later, two seconds later, and so on as required

Yes that's what I wanted.
Your response got me thinking and I ended up using my image along with blank events of short duration... copy and pasted a few times over duration of clip which worked out ok.

For future reference you could also simply add a Composite Level envelope to the track and then add keyframes for 0% or 100% when ever you want the video to "blink".
