How to make a perfect loop.

I have an animation I created for a backdrop. It looks good but I cannot get it to loop so you can not tell. I tried taking a copy of the start keyframe and puttting it at the end and offsetting the value by 1 frame, but it still is obvious.

How do I make a seemless loop?

Thanks,

Right click on the file in and go to interpret footage, there is a loop option there. Just tell it how many times you want it to loop.

You are able to loop footage with this, but no animations or compositions.
Add the following expression to the animated parameter, to loop animation, or use the time remapping effect and the expression to loop the composition.

Code:
loopOut(type="cycle", numKeyframes=0);

I am not looking for the number of loops, I am looking for a seamless loop. One you can not tell is looped. Like the Jumpbacks.

My creation loops, it just has a very definite start/stop point in the loops. That is what I want to get rid of... the obvious start/stop of the loop.

Thanks!

I did use fractal noise, and I did offset it by 1 frame. There is still an obvious stop and reversal. :furious3:

Maybe my logic is wrong. I set some key frames to create the effect. Then I took the first key frames and copied them and pasted them at the end and offset them by a frame. I have my start key frames, my end (center of timeline) and then my start key frames at the end of the timeline. It is the center keyframes that are giving me a fit. But without them the animation is non existant.

take a look at my project settings and animation (AE 7.0 Pro).

Thanks for all the help! I will check out the links!
