How to make a custom DVX lens?

I have a potentially strange idea for making a custom lens to affix to the DVX, but I have no idea if it is possible, and if so, where to start, but...

I am interested in fitting a Holga camera lens to my DVX. The Holga is a really dinky, plastic medium format camera that produces a very distinct aesthetic. The lens is super cheap and made of plastic, as well.

What do you think? Is it possible to affix a Holga lens to either a DVX, or a cheaper consumer-style cam? If so, how?

Anyone have experience making custom lenses?

hmm, looks interesting, very stylized at least but i imagine you'd need to make some kind of adaptor for it. Maybe try the DIY forum as well?
