How to maintain good video quality?

After taking footage from your camera shooting on a HD camera, how do you maintain that proper quality when you want to edit and export the footage using Premiere Pro? Really need the help.

You're going to have to give us more specific info than that, as that is an extremely broad question. The first question is what is you delivery format? What are you trying to do with the footage?

This is not the only way, but the steps I recommend are:

1. Attend classes on video production.
2. Study hard, do well, graduate.
3. Once you know the basics of video production, read through the PP manual to learn how to use this specific software.

Following those three steps, I find that most people will do pretty well with something as basic as importing, editing and exporting.

Of course, steps 1 and 2 do require a lot of time and money, so there is an alternative work flow available. It's just one step.

1. Hire a professional who has already done steps 1 through 3 above.

The alternative work flow will save a lot of time, and only cost you the money. But that's actually OK, because you need to spend the money somewhere. I mean, yes the tools of the trade have become a lot cheaper these days. But being able to afford the tools doesn't mean you can do the job (as is made clear by your question). So, money needs to be spent, either on becoming a professional yourself, or on hiring one.

(On a side note, it's kind of insulting when someone who hasn't spent that money comes asking for free help from those who have and earn their living from doing so.)

No it's not. That's one of the points of the forum, for those who are new and learning to ask questions of those of us who have been around for awhile. I'm not insulted at all by someone who is trying to learn and is a complete newbie asking me questions, and I'm someone with a college degree in video production and have worked in television for over a decade. I don't know what his situation is, what he's planning on doing, and what his purpose in learning the software is, so it doesn't bother me if he's coming asking basic questions.
