How to light beer spraying from a can?

Hey gang,

So I need to figure how to best light this shot. If anyone has any ideas I'd definitely appreciate it.

Basically the shot is a medium shot of a girl holding a beer can in front of a white wall. She is at the left side of the frame. She vigorously shakes the beer can and opens it away from her body, causing (hopefully) a stream of beer to shoot across the frame (towards frame right).

I'm trying to figure out the best way to light the stream so that it it really pops and doesn't just disappear into the white wall.

The girl will probably be about two feet in front of the white wall.
The lights I have access to are two Kino Flo Diva 400's and 1 Arri 300 Fresnel and 1 Arri 650 Fresnel.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd definitely appreciate it.

Thanks,
Tanner

back light would certainly be the standard solution, but against a white wall it may not work (unless you can underlight the wall?) - you can't change the background? Hmm, some sort of golden gel on the beer backlight might help. Your other problem is that 2 ft isn't much space to squeeze in any backlighting...

I don't think it would be wise to underlight the wall. You would need a pure white background. Make sure the back is evenly lit, 2 stops over from the reading you get on the girl and spray.

It'd shoot a few tests.

Cool, thanks guys. It sounds like a hard backlight is the way to go. I'll try to reconfigure my shot so that a backlight is possible.

Definitely appreciate the help!

yeah, definitely do some tests - if it's not going to work, you want to know before the actual shoot
