I've been trying to light a scene inside a pub and I've been struggling for a bit.
Originally, I wanted to keep everything dim to create the mood, and then paint the scene with red, green lights.
I wanted to have the character lit PARTIALLY red or green like the pictures I have uploaded. However, I couldn't seem to achieve what I wanted.
As soon as I put a red or green gels on the light, the light spills everywhere and make the whole scene looks red or green.
I tried closing the barn door as much as I can and to cut the light with flags, it didn't work.
I wanted to light the scene with all kind of different colors. The lights I had was two kinos, and a lowel light kit ( 250w x3 )
I have also attached the location ( Pub ) that I was shooting at.
Please, if there are any advice or suggestions or how you would light it differently, please let me know.
