I'm working on my first documentary. I want to import all my footage into fcp. Is there a standardized way to name the tapes and the corresponding fcp files.
Right now this is the way I do it:
TAPE001-SUBJECT-DATE-TYPE OF SHOT (CU,M,W)
Additionally, is there a way or trick to make sure the time code on the tape matches the timecode on the fcp file? Just in case the editor has to go back to the tape, I don't want him to be lost.
