How to keep the same result on Cinema Tools?

Hey, so I was following the PBloom vimeo vid on converting 30p 5dmk2 footage to 24p, but after conforming it keeps changing the dimensions of the video from 1080 to 960x540.

Any idea how I can keep it at 1080, I can't see an option to keep it there.

Ta.

I came across that the other day too. It seems that it only changes the display size that it opens up at in QT player. If you look at the inspector, it's still 1080, and will be 1080 in fcp too.
I'm not sure why this happens, maybe it's a bug.

Yeah inspector sees it at 960x540 and when I open it in QT it shows that, but having imported it into FCP, FCP seems to suggest it's 1080.

I'm unsure of if it is in fact 1080 and so quality is preserved or what the deal is.

In the inspector, under Format, doesn't it say 1920x1080? Then normal size and current size will say 960x540?

In my experience, it really is the full 1080 and it hasn't been re-sized, but your situation could be different..

Yeah you're right, that's pretty weird. When I CMD+I on the file itself to bring up the info panel it says the dimensions are 960x540 and when I click to open it with Quicktime it opens in that smaller, 1/2 sized window.

However within Quicktime, Inspector does say 1080 under format.

So it looks like Info & Quicktime are reading it as half sized, but format is listed as 1080 aka full sized, which is weird.
