how to import mxf files

Hi,

i shot some scenes with the hvx-200 and and i want to know how can i import .mxf in FCP. Does every FCP can manage it ?
I'm in PAL and i shot in 720P/50 (we don't have the 60p here)...
So if some one can give me the way to work...

Go to the FCP support page:

in the right-hand column about third of way down find the 'Workflow for Final Cut Pro and the Panasonic' - download that and you'll find a lot of answeres there. But one answer you will find is that 720/25P is NOT supported - even in FCP 5.1.1 Best to use FCP 5.0.4 or later.

FCP brings in the .mxf files with the QuickTime .mov wrapper. Connect your camera to Mac, go to Import > Panasonic P2, and the clips should show up.
