Here's a synopsis///

'SO YOU WANT MICHAEL MADSEN?' concerns the obsession, need and desire to get a name actor for independent and low budget films. It offers an insight into what it takes to get name actors or celebrities... whether they or if they will even consider doing a low/no budget film, how to go about it, the agent/manager question, and the do's and don'ts of the approach. It also discusses what the determining factor is in their choice to do a low budget feature, if they in fact choose to do one.

Filmmakers have their own war stories about the struggles of getting anyone with a name so in an effort to deliver it straight rather than third hand, feature interviews with the name artists themselves have been compiled, including EMMY* Winner, Holland Taylor (2 and a Half Men, The Truman Show), Golden Globe* Winner, John Saxon (Enter The Dragon, Nightmare on Elm St.), Paula Jai Parker (Hustle and Flow), Jim Parrack (Battle LA, True Blood), and Doug Hutchison (The Green Mile, I am Sam) to mention a few...other footage includes JERSEY BOY, Frankie Valli, and UFC Champ, Randy Couture.

The audience will also follow a quest by Stan Harrington to get Michael Madsen, the quintessential indy actor, for an interview for this $44 guerilla project.
