not sure if its the right forum category - best fit I could find.. I use vegas, and I need to calibrate my monitor so what I see is accurate... can anyone advise? Do I need a CRT TV output to view on? an LCD TV? Do I need to buy a pantone huey or spyder calibrator for my monitor? Advice much appreciated... Thanks

PS- I'm getting the dell 3008 30" monitor, as its the only 30" on sale here. Is it alright, or do I need something else?

Thanks

If you can afford it get a broadcast quality monitor however if you are cheap like me, get a small CRT TV from the pawn shop so that you can see what you image looks like on a interlace (4 3 ) display. You can view how the CRT is cropping your images and may need to make adjustments.
