I edit on a G5...the main HD that it runs of has 500GB...it also has an extra 500 GB HD in the main computer...plus I have 3 externals -- 2 500GB and 1 terra HD. The terra connects via USB (doesn't have firewire connection). I was hoping for some tips on how to get the best performance. Should I spread footage out evenly between all drives? Is the fact that the terra only has USB connection a problem?...any info would be much appreciated.
