How To Fix "digital" look during preview

I am capturing a lot of footage from our DVX100A feature and somewhere along the way I must have hit a switch....The preview window while logging footage has begun to look "digital" during big movement. This is not during the capture phaze where is it always looks jumpy, but the logging preview. It was looking okay yesterday and does not seem to be effecting the final capture (viewed on the timeline and playback as a quicktime movie it looks fine). But is there something I may have turned on/off to make the preview look that way?

Sounds like what it would look like if it was running at 2x speed. Any chance?

Happen to hit LL once?

The preview is running at the right speed, it just leaves a strange digital trail behind objects that move in the frame. I remember one time back when I was working in Adobe Premiere this happened but it also copied the effect into the final grabs and so showed up in the project. Right now it seems to just be in the preview window but even when something is off, I get nervous.

I am not sure what LL is either but the only thing I know I did between having it look right and wrong, is adjusted the the Print To Video preview so I could watch on my TV monitor some clips. But I put everything back when I was done. And it should have done nothing to the preview on my computer since it was just the audio (switched from built in to fire wire to hear it on my set).

this may sound dumb, but did you change the scale of the canvas (i.e. visually zoom in on the window, not physically scale your clip)?

i find that my video plays back crappy if i zoom in on the canvas at 100% (which i accidentally do all the time) select FIT TO WINDOW from the pulldown at the top of the canvas. if i undertsand you right, that should do the trick.
