How to export

Hi, I bought the master collection cs4 today for mac and already edited my first multicam shoot. I used to use Final Cut Express so I am not very familiar with the export process since Adobe uses Media Encoder and Final Cut Express exports within the own program. In premiere, I went to file>export and set it to the correct timebase and aspect ratio and dut it to MPEG-2 DVD since I will be burning it to DVD. This project needs to be distributed fairly soon so I am going to make the DVD and menu on iDVD instead of taking the time to learn Encore. I thought that Media Encoder would open right after I clicked export in Premiere. Am I missing something in the process? Also, it says target file=users/andy/movies/filename.m2v. When I go into my movies part in finder, it is not there.

If you don't want to learn Encore and you've got the Master Collection, you should render with After Effects for the best result.

...? Not sure if this is what you mean, but you simply have to go into Encoder, go to file, and right there it will have tabs for Pro and Effects. Click the Pro tab, click your file, and then convert. Easy peasy.
