How to export for DVD/Television

I shot a friend's wedding last year, as a favor. Its edited and ready. But the picture quality looked sketchy on TV when I burned it on iDVD.

I used the DVX100A I shot in 24p. The number 5 setting.

Editing on Final Cut Express. Can you help me get the highest quality for a DVD to be played on Television?

Thanks so much.

Not much to it- you export with current settings and add to iDVD. Unless you have FCP and DVDSP that's about the best you can hope for.

Ok, heres the thing. I exported it one time at the very beginning of this without really thinking about it.

The running time is 1 hr. it came out as a final cut express movie at 12.5 GB. The quality on this is great. But I exported prematurely and I had to make more edits.

Now I can't seem to figure out what I did, because they now come out as quicktime movies at only about 5 GB.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong? How can I save this at 12.5 GBs again?

Right click on your 12.5GB file and go to "get info". It will tell you your file settings and recreate it in your export settings.
