How to Export at the Highest Quality

So I have been editing this music video and I am just about finished. I want to export the highest quality version that I can that will be suitable to give to the band on DVD for them to try to get played on MTV or whatever they decide to do with it.

So essentially, I am asking how to do that. I don't know a lot about video formats and what not.

Oh my. Why oh why.

Ok... look -- File Export Quicktime Movie.... Current Settings.

Take it into DVDSP and be done with it. No need to encode if you have no idea what you are doing anyway.

Ok?

Sheesh. Open a flippin manual!!!

You will have better looking results if you use compressor to export the video for DVD, which version of FCP are you using?
 
Indeed... but for a 5 minute or less video??? DVDSP will default to anything you could make better using Compressor. Same engine.
