First of all how many channels of audio is typically used on a set whether it be a movie, commercial, documentary, etc?
My question is, if your on the set and the Camera is at "speed" and the slate has been clapped and the director yells action, he or she may need to give further cues to actors or extras once camera is at speed. So how would you erase that audio from being heard of the director yelling out cues or giving direction during a shot? In a Music Video I dont think it matters to much because you will be hearing the music.
I don't have this problem, but I always wanted to know how they deleted the directors audio from an audio track when editing.
