Hey,

FLASH has the capability of "EASING" between keyframes. Meaning that the motion between frames is not constant, but fades from fast to slow and visa versa.

My question is does AFTER EFFECTS have this feature??? I am just learning the program and i cant find it. And if you have any extra knowledge, that would make my life much easier..

Take care.

Yes, select the keyframes you want to ease, and hit F9.

You can also pull up a graph and modify the curves by hand, but the method escapes me at the moment...

watch some of Andrew Kramer's tutorials, he talks about the 'easy ease' feature all the time

You can do easing by right-clicking a keyframe or highlighting the keyframe and going into the animation menu. F9 is the hotkey for easy-ease (both in and out) but I can't remember ease in or ease out only. Probably shift-F9 etc. Also you can select the keyframes you want, go into graph view, and modify them with bezier handles, etc. if you need more precise control of the ease. I usually right-click because lots of options for easing are available right there in addition to basic eases...

Thanks!
