How to do this Light Trail Effect?

Hi, I saw this DVX clip:

can someone tell me how this guy pulled off that light trails effect? I don't think its trapcode - it looks better than that. The trail even thickens!

Any ideas?

i think its totaly trapcode...there are alot of settings in to play with...it can totaly do that.

It sure look like Trapcode 3D Stroke to me. The thickness could be keyframed for the heart trail. The guy drawing the light trail totally gives it away as 3D Stroke because of the way the "pulse" travels along the trail.

ok i just got an email from the guy - you guys were right, thanks - so what plugins do you need? is it 3D stroke or Particular?

Definitely 3D Stroke if you want to do a light trails effect.

A fellow DVX memeber did the exact same effect awhile back in like a music video. Never played with 3D stroke but I like Shine from Trapcode.
