How to create title effects?

These are fairly simple. Could be done in After effects or Apple motion.

Also moving thread to appropriate place.
 
Yeah, I've only had AE for a few weeks and I'm pretty sure I could pull those off.

You have some moving type, some blurs some lighting and a 'light sweep' (I think thats what its called).

just play with the animation. highlight your text and use the animation presets under "Text"....
