Hey all, does anybody have any idea how this is created?

The first two videos, I'm guessing it's a glass object distorting the lens...
however, the third video, I'm thinking there's post-processing work.. I'm guessing two things, some sort of a plug in, and two, duplicating a frame, and blurring it, and offsetting the position? but then..it looks smooth (like for instance in the 0:25 shot, if it's the second technique, then I have no idea how to keyframe that so smoothly..
anyone with ideas? I've messaged the creator of the vid, but no response.. also want to hear what you guys thought?
