How to convert MXF files to MPEG2?

I have a three day job next week where I shoot SD during the day and a foreign edit house has requested I upload the files encoded to MPEG2 on the hotel's internet. They said to have the files in the 150-300MB range.

Can anyone tell me how to do this conversion? I have a Mac laptop that I use for P2 downloading and tech checking and would rather not bring all the footage into FCP for a conversion. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I'd check with them again- MPEG2 is totally useless for editing unless they only want to see viewing copies. You'd make it with Compressor though.
