how to convert 3x4 to sqeeze frame or letterbox

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for giving me your time.New to this forum, I am looking for information on how to change the image of something that has been previously shot in 3x4 to match the image of something shot in sqeeze on Panasonic DVX 100A . Two cameras used in shoot, but one accidently on squeeze, the other 3x4. Need to match for edit. Can anyone help? Thanks....stu
 
If I were you, assuming you're going to matte the whole thing (since you said letterbox was an option) I would do this:

1. Capture the squeeze footage as normal instead of anamorphic
2. Scale the squeeze footage height to 77.5%
3. Put a matte with an area of 720x372 on the timeline on top of everything

Now both the normal and squeeze footage will be letterboxed as if the camera was set to letterbox mode. You will have to adjust the framing for the footage shot in normal mode, however. Though, you may have planned on doing this in the first place.
