How to change velocity precise?

Hi,

i would like to make a movie slower. I was able to change it for example to 80% or 81% using the green line on the track.

But i would like to change it for example to 80.1 or 80.5.

Where could i set a value like this?

Right-click the clip > Properties > set Playback Rate to whatever you need.

so playback rate is the same result if i change the velocity using the green line there?
is this correct:
i have a original audio track at 128bpm
i will pitch it up using another programm to 154bpm
i will record the videoclip and make the clip slower:
154bpm ist 20.3125% faster than 128bpm
Sony Vegas Playback rate: 1.0 = 120.3125%
0.8311=100% (128bpm)
My solution is to set the playback rate to 0.83 to syncronize the original audio track with the video.
Please tell me if im calculating right.

As far as I know, the 'green line' method (holding Ctrl while dragging the end of a clip) is simply a more convenient but cruder version of the Playback Rate rate method I outlined above.

I don't know whether your playback calculations are right but the result should be pretty obvious, as any adjusted clips will show their new length on the time line.
