How to capture 720 24pN in FC?

Hello.

I am sorry to rehash this question which as probably been sked 1 million times already....


BUT...

before I embark on a rather large project, I would like to know if there is a simple process in which I should adhere to, when shooting/editing my film.

I shall shoot on a 32GB P2 with my HVX set at 720 24pN. I would like to maintain this frame rate and quality.

I will edit on FCP 6.0.1

And I will copy my P2 footage with P2CMS (unless otheriwse instructed)

Are there any major steps I should adhere to.

Any help is much appreciated!

Well, If you convert with P2CMS, then it will make Quicktime files that are 720p 24PN and FCP will edit those just fine.
