I have a DVX100, shoe mount, shockmount raised up about 4 inches, boom mic, BBG, Furry Jammer and a short XRL cable. Although I obviously get zero wind noise, I'm still getting some rumbling noises from the camera even when the operator is very still. It could be the XRL cable even though I have it taped to the camera.
Is the best sure fire way to keep the camera noise down? The only thing I can think of that it might be the XRL cable. If so, what's the best way to secure it?
