How to adjust volume of events?

I know how to adjust volume by volume envelopes, but only within the whole track. Its possible to add volume envelope within the particular event only? (It would by sometimes faster for me - if I want to for example increase volume only whithin one small event which I'm moving on timeline a lot.)

I'm adding envelopes by pressing "V". Then one big envelope across the whole track appears. I dont know ho to adjust volume per clip.

Right click on the envelope, then on the options click on ADD POINT.Put the points where you want to adjust then move the envelope up or down.

I know that, but I want to add envelope to particular clip only (not to the whole track). It would be faster for me and when I'll be moving that clip, the envelope would move with it. I think in older version of Vegas this was possible.

Yep, as both David & thome stated ... though thome's method will give you greater control & latitude, in my opinion. It takes just a moment to add it to the entire track, and then where ever you want to add a point (keyframe, whatever) just double click on that spot (at beginning of the clip), then lock it in place by doing the same on the end of the clip. Then drag the volume up or town to taste on that actual clip, and you can create additional points to get as crazy & creative as you like for that specific clip.

Oh, it "lock envelope to events" has to be activated. I didnt know that.

David Jimerson: But you can only decrease gain.

If you go that route and move the clip around, be careful; you can end up with a mess. Remember that every envelope node affects the volume between the node before it and after it.

Technically true, but 1) you can right-click and choose Switches>Normalize to increase the gain, and 2) most sounds you record in the field should not need to be made louder in post. Increasing gain/volume will increase noise, too, just as increasing gain in the video will increase noise.

Just double click on the evelope line and it will make a square..then do it again at the end of the event. Then you can just rais the volume on that event...and not the whole track.
