how to Add DVD content to edit

Hi People,

I wish to use some scenes from a dvd into my documentary. What is the procedure to select a few shots from a DVD. I am brand new to Vegas editing so kindly help.

Have just moved from premiere 6 to vegas 6 becasue premiere 6 could not handle 25P editing.
