Anybody know how I can achieve the look of "Collateral" using a DVX?

Also, I'd like to know the actual settings Mann used (shutter speed, 24p, etc.)

Turn into Paul Cameron and Dion Beebe!

jk!

This might receive more of a looky loo over in cinematography!

Until you do, I'll give you a little sneak peak of the awesome stuff you'll learn in the cinematography forum:

Collateral was shot on Vipers, F900's, and Vision 500T 5279, Vision2 500T 5218, Vision2 Expression 500T 5229, and Vision 800T 5289 35mm film (all pushed two stops over (Beebe sometimes went 3!) and rated 1 1/2 stops over. The HD cameras also had the gain pushed drastically.

Acceptable signal-to-noise tradeoff was around +3db to +6db on the F900. It was at times pushed to +12db. The Vipers were pushed to around +9db, at the highest amount w/ a T1.3 Digi-prime.
