how they shot the car scene in My Blueberry Nights

This was a terrible movie. But there's a scene with Natalie Portman and Nora Jones driving in a convertible that looks great. I couldn't tell for the life of me if it was shot in a real moving car of it if was greenscreen. If it was greenscreen, it looked as real as any daytime car driving scene I've ever seen. It actually looked better, because they were able to control the light on the characters.

Was wondering if anyone knew how they shot this and what the technique used was.

sorry about the quality but here they are:

It's hard to tell without motion. Because it looks so real, when you see a still, you'd immediately assume it was shot in a real car. But there's something off about the lighting when it's moving at 24 frames that makes you think some other trickery is going on. But this is the best I could do.

i have this shot as my wall paper

I liked the movie and visually its another inspiration I use when I'm shooting.

A little homage from a music video I just did.
