I'm trying to pick up a countryman EMW lav and they have the cheapest price around, but their website has got to be the most poorly designed thing I've ever seen in my life. I have signed up for an account and all that, but I can't figure out how the hell to actually add stuff to my cart???

Im sorry but is there any excuse for you to take the time to post on here
when there is a perfectly good 1800 PHONE NUMBER on their website that you could call?

I mean come on

Yeah, that would be very useful if they were open right now, but they aren't, and I want to place my order tonight so they might be able to ship tomorrow (I have work all day tomorrow and won't be able to order). I figured posting it here might get me a helpful response faster than waiting till they're open tomorrow and hoping I have a free minute to call.

I guess the "fast response" worked out, anyway

If you look at other product sections on their website certain things are available online with a simple click of the "buy now" button
others say "please call or email us for a price".

so you can't buy those things online? I already emailed them for the price...

In the time honored tradition of internet list piling on:

If they are too much trouble to deal with, pay the difference and go somewhere easy with good service.

A couple week ago, I ordered $15 worth of tripod parts from Manfrotto. I had to do this by phone, since you can't do it by internet. I asked for a tracking number upon completion of the order. The truly nice fella said he didn't have one, but to call back and use my phone number to identify the order and get it. He said I should receive the order by last Thurs. Four business days after that, this week, no parts. I call back to Manfrotto, and a slightly irritated guy says I'll receive them Weds, 5 business days later than the original estimate. No explanation for that, but I don't think it was UPS that was late. I suggested a tracking number at the time of purchase or shortly thereafter via email would have saved us both the hassle of tracking this by phone. His response was "You could have called and got the tracking number". Duh, that's what we just did.......

Makes you wonder where they keep the sharper tools in the shed.

Yeah, I've been looking for other places, but most of the other sites are selling it for at least $30...I want it to ship fast, but not badly enough to throw away $30...maybe I can sneak out of work for a moment tomorrow...
