What's the problem? It looks exactly the same as every other movie about dance ever made. Seriously.

Okay, I watched the trailer. I don't get what the issue is Zak, that was pretty much exactly what I expected from Heart of Now. Don't you have a character in there trying to get out of the ghetto by winning the big dance? Thought I saw that...

Sure at first glance it looks like another stupid movie, but I have heard good things about the film compared to others in the same genre. Critics really seem to like it as well, getting a 70%+ and 60%+ on rottentomatoes.
 
Have not seen the film but the trailer makes me NOT want to see it. The delivery of the lines was awful and the story was nothing more than an "After School Special". Hope they didn't pick the best stuff for the trailer.

But I could be wrong because I also thought Braveheart was going to suck and Titanic was going to bomb at the box office. D'oh! :)
 
Which dance movies is this one? Is it the one of the girl from a poor town that has to prove herself as a dancer? Or is it the one about the dude that has a dead end job and has to prove himself as a dancer? Or is it the one about the kid that loses everything and has to prove himself as a dancer? Or is it the one about that other girl that has nothing and...
 
They should make one where dancing brings about world peace.

Maybe they should get Rambo to do it.
