how much would you pay for a short script?

not sure if i should post this here or under screenwriting, but i figured a screenwriter would be selling scripts, not buying.

so how much, if anything at all?

Yeah, that would be my first question.

My second question would be what do you want to do with it? Shorts themselves are rarely a financial commodity. But if there is a concept there that is unique and marketable enough to develop into a feature or a TV series, then that's a different story.

nobody makes money off shorts. that's the expectation. I'd option it for $1 to make it legal, with no promise of anything on the backend even if it does happen to make money.
