How much would you have charged for this commercial?

So i just finished this commercial. It is my first under my new production company, and I'm curious to see how much you experienced guys here would have charged for this.

I'll fill in the backstory once enough people have posted.

I'm terrified of heights so I'd had needed about a million to convince me to jump out of a plane with a camera.

I suspected you might have just put a GoPro on an instructor but wasn't sure whether you did or didn't. Kudos for choosing the smarter option. :)

I'm pretty sure the guys in the parachute segments of this ad, where using go-pros.

But the guy who owns the company that coordinated/produced the stunt has been working with cameras mounted on his helmet for years... and rolling out all manner of objects, cars, pianos, etc. out of perfectly good airplanes...

Haha! Let me guess, $3000 if it included free jumps and $30,000 if you couldn't go up?

On a more serious note, what would have been the factors for the price fluxes?

How big the job is. Size of the job barely ever is what ends up on the screen. For instance here the job could be coming through an ad agency but you being paid by the company. Say you submit the quote to the agency and it's $3k but the agency bills $10k for the concept. Then they could call you up and say to add another $2-3g to the quote so the price discrepancy between what the idea and actual execution cost is not that huge. (i actually had that happen just yesterday...). So the price per spot is $6k. Then you know that you can make not one but, say 3 different commercials for them - one about jumping, one about love of flying, one about thrill of doing something for first time. You know it won't take that much longer to shoot because you will be recycling shots but still end up billing 3x $6k.

Interesting. Thanks for that little nugget

The ad is worth at least $10k but knowing how cheap people are they would probably wanna pay $1500 for it, so I'd meet in the middle and charge $3k. But on your next pitch, use this as a selling point and charge the $10k, if after they see this they don't wanna pay the $10k then find out what they budget is and use an iphone to shoot it and edit on imovie. Good job though.
