How much time / $$$$ for deliverables ?

Yet to produce a feature, I am curious how much time, how much $ if outsourced, micro budget feature filmmakers here budget for creating deliverables for a micro distributor? Trailers, stills, M&E, dialog sheets, music cue sheets metadata spreadsheet (not really clear on what that is), press kit, closed captioning. If you do it all yourself as the producer, how many hours do you estimate it takes you to create the deliverables?

How high is the sky? How long is a string?

It can cost a lot and take a long time. It can cost a little and be fast. It all depends...

It depends on how fast you are at doing everything you just listed. Not knowing anything about you I'd just ballpark and say budget 3-4 months working full time to get it all done at the minimum.

If you hire people to do it are you hiring people off CraigsList or are you hiring people that do these types of things day in and day out for a living? For the former you can probably get it done for a few hundred bucks and some pizza (quality and turn around time will both be questionable). For the latter costs will quickly get into the 10's of thousands of dollars range (but quality will be better and you can actually hit deadlines).

Good points. I will probably end up doing it all myself, too expensive to outsource for now. A good winter project if I plan to shoot late summer.
