Pookie, is this: Cadwch Cymru yn lan. Danfonwch y sbwriel i Loegr! Welsh? To my semi-trained eye it would appear to be, though it may very well be another Celtic variant.

c.g._eads said:if he sold you a camera he's probably using that money to buy a new camera. find out what camera he wants, post that camera up at a comparable or slightly higher price than he sold you the GL1 for (as a different user of course), then when he buys it off you, send him back the GL1. Game over.

c.g. - that's a good idea, if he tries to stiff me, maybe i'll try that.
anyway... i paid $900.
i'm really irritated with the whole thing. i'm going to save for a dvx as soon as i get my money back and buy it from b&h. in the meantime, anyone wanna buy a gl1 with a broken firewire chip?
i was thinking, if he refunds me a few hundred and lets me keep it, i could get a cheap minidv cam for transfering, but would i not get the full image quality of the gl1 during the transfer if i used a cheaper camera?
