How much memory RAM with Edius NX? URGENT!

Hi, I am assembling a new PC for HDV editing with:

MB Asus P5W HD DELUXE
microprocessor CONROE E6600 2,40GHz FSB 1066 4MB cache LGA775
Graphic card ATI 1650 Pro

Can you tell me if 2GB (2 modules 1GB) memory RAM are sufficient, please?

2 gigs is sufficient. Is your motherboard dual channel capable? this term refers to the ability of the memory to be efficient by dual channel technology, it means having equal size and speed of ram modules on #1 and #2 ram slots.

Yes I think. My MB is [FONT=&quot]Asus P5W HD DELUXE[/FONT]
