How long should intros last for on showreels?

I'm unsure where this thread belongs. But if this isn't the right place please move it.

My question is: how long should intros last for on showreels?
 
I just have like a simple 10sec indent but can actually just be 5 seconds but nothing longer than 10seconds its just be long and gets dull fast. As you need to capture their attention really fast with tons of nice shots of different things you have done.
 
Intro?
If you ask me, you put your name at the bottom of the video for the first half a minute or so and afterwards maybe go with an outro. I find nothing turns me off as an intro to a showreel.
